2011 NAWC Water Summit to Host Local Leaders to Discuss California’s Water Challenges & Solutions

On Tuesday, October 4, the 2011 NAWC Water Summit will host local leaders from San Diego and Los Angeles to discuss the benefits of public-private partnerships in the water industry. Panelists will describe how they set objectives and expectations for water infrastructure and reliable service in the face of supply challenges, and their process for identifying potential private sector partners to achieve their goals.

The panel, titled “Water is Your Business: Local Leaders on Building Partnerships,” is part of the Water is Your Business initiative – a joint effort by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Let’s Rebuild America Campaign and NAWC to create local dialogues to provide business and community leaders with tools and resources needed to be constructive and influential participants in the discussion on water infrastructure needs.
