As Aqua’s Environmental Compliance Manager, Alissa ensures the company remains 100% compliant with ever-changing state and federal environmental regulations. She serves on the board of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), advocating tirelessly for the water and wastewater utility industry, and recently participated in the AWWA Fly-In in Washington, D.C., meeting with seven members of Congress to support and adjust legislation. Her dedication, often at the expense of her own free time, embodies intelligence, tact, diplomacy, leadership, and responsibility, along with caring, respect, commitment, humor, honesty, integrity, empathy, transparency, hard work, and resilience. Alissa ensures Aqua’s customers receive safe, compliant water, oversees the Safety Management program for field operators, and ensures compliance with crucial projects like lead service line replacements and PFAS removal. Her efforts are vital to both the company and its customers.
