Member collaboration
The Small/Midsize Systems Committee provides a platform for NAWC members to share best practices, collaborate and advocate for their interests.
Its mission is to enhance sustainability among small service territory NAWC members through information sharing and partnerships. The Committee also facilitates resource sharing from larger members to improve operations and maintain regulated water’s excellence.
The mission of the Small/Midsize Systems Committee is to promote the sustainability of NAWC member companies that cover small service territories through the use of ongoing information sharing and partnerships.
To accomplish these goals, the committee:
Educates
Educates the Board and other Committees regarding key issues and priorities impacting small systems across the country to ensure that small systems maintain a level playing field and are treated fairly
Facilitates
Facilitates information sharing among members and with staff in an effort to develop best practices that can be used to bolster the narrative about the successful track record of regulated water
Identifies
Identifies opportunities to advance policies and engage in advocacy on mutually beneficial issues in key states
Collects
Collects data from member companies to improve overall messaging regarding the successful track record of regulated water
Spearheads
Spearheads the development of tools that can be used by small systems to improve their operations and assist in compliance
